NEAR CUSHING, Iowa (KTIV) - A total of four vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction crash on Highway 20 in Ida County, Monday afternoon.
It happened in a construction zone, at mile marker 38, on Highway 20, in Ida County at about four o'clock.
Iowa State Patrol troopers say traffic has stopped for the construction when a semi failed to stop. The semi slammed into the back of a passenger car, which set off the chain-reaction crash, which involved four vehicles.
Investigators say a female was airlifted to Sioux City's Mercy Medical center with non life-threatening injures.
