Norfolk, Neb. (KTIV) - After being closed for days due to flooding, officials Highway 81 in Norfolk, Nebraska is now open.
Nebraska Department of Road crews have been working around the clock to make repairs to the highway after flood water forced the closure.
Once it reopens, drivers are urged to be cautious. Crews continue their work on other highways in the area.
"Whenever you get on a road that is recently open, be careful. Use caution as you're going through here. The road is going to be safe when we open it of course," says Kevin Domogalla, NDOR District Operations Maintenance Manager.
