SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- Woodbury County, Iowa leaders file an answer to a federal lawsuit brought by Opportunities Unlimited last month.
OU, a non-profit organization that treats people with traumatic brain injuries says the county removed them from the "preferred provider" list without reason.
A brief filed in federal court, by the county, says OU lacks standing to bring the claim.
Court documents also state some officials named in the suit have immunity, and the Woodbury County Board of Supervisors are not a suable entity.
A representative for OU says they are still hopeful a resolution can be reached with the county.
