SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Veterans in Sioux City that need a home will now have an opportunity for some assistance.
The Sioux City Housing Authority and the Department of Veteran Affairs are teaming up to host an informational meeting for homeless veterans.
The meeting will present information on how people can apply for housing choice vouchers.
Veterans who are part of the program will also receive case management and clinical services provided by Veterans Affairs.
Hubert Grogan, A Social Worker, said, "We will have case management services that will be a full time social worker working with the people that are on this program. Our goal is to help people become stable in their living arrangements and to have permanent housing."
The informational meeting will take place on Friday July 23,2010, from 9:30am-2:30pm at the Mid-town Community Center, located at 525 14th Street.
