SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- Sioux City firefighters quickly doused flames inside an apartment in the Morningside neighborhood, Thursday afternoon.

Joe Rodriguez of Sioux City Fire & Rescue says, crews were called out to 3825 Third Avenue around 2:30. They found smoke and flames on the second floor of a three-story apartment building.

Rodriguez says, firefighters quickly contained the flames in the living room. He says, no one was in the apartment at the time, and all tenants made it safely out of the building.
