Liquor license approved for new downtown bar

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- Downtown Sioux City has a new place to eat and drink.

The former Rosie's location on Historic Fourth Street is now Scotty's Pub. Monday night, Sioux City City Council members approved a liquor license for Scotty's.

Along with drinks, Scotty's will also serve barbeque. The new owner has also freshened up the interior and is excited to get going.

"It's just going to be a great, friendly, fun atmosphere for all ages," said owner Scott Schultz.

Schultz hopes it'll be a popular spot for both the after-work, and late night crowds.
