SPENCER, Iowa (KTIV) -- A Spencer, Iowa police officer is on administrative leave after being charged with a crime in Wisconsin.
Thirty-one-year-old Chad Julius has worked as a full-time patrolman on the Spencer force for the past two years.
He's accused of fourth degree sexual assault for an incident out of Saint Croix County, Wisconsin in late July.
Julius has pled "not guilty" in the case.
Spencer Police Chief Mark Lawson says Julius will continue to be on leave until the case runs its course through the Wisconsin courts.
