Men arrested for intent to take hogs

LYON COUNTY, Iowa (KTIV) -- Two men are in trouble for conspiring to steal livestock.

Twenty-four-year-old Eric Freihage of Logan, Iowa and 20-year old Jonathan Wensel of Pisgah, Iowa were arrested after police say they the pair had the intent to steal hogs from a confinement and load them into their trailer.

Freihage has been charged with burglary, driving while revoked, and possession of controlled substance. He is being held in Lyon County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Jonathan Wensel was also charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools. He is currently out on a $5,000 bond.
