SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -- A Siouxland Buddhist temple is getting a little help from Woodbury County.
The Board of Supervisors voted to give the Pho Mon Buddhist Temple a tax abatement.
Non-profit religious can apply for the abatement, at the city assessor's office.
The temple, which is located at the former Girls Incorporated location will receive more than $200 back on their taxes for 2009 to 2010 year.
The exemption they are receiving is for the land and the temple also received.
One of the several attractions in Sioux City is its waterfront that spans for miles across downtown.
