SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - In town getting stuck around the corner or sliding into someone is easy to do today.
And out of town you'd be lucky to stay on the road right now.
The snow isn't so bad its the wind that is blowing that snow around.
The Iowa DOT had plenty of plows out this morning but for many parts of Northwest Iowa, they are pulling the plows.
With wind gusts between 40 and 50 miles an hour they are even having a hard time seeing.
Travelers are advised that state roadways surrounding these areas will likely become impassable.
Travel will be very hazardous and emergency rescues could be impossible.
They have closed Highway 75 north of Sioux City, Highway 3, Highway 60, Highway 18, Highway 71, Highway 20 east of Ida Grove and Highway 59.
