NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV)--Four people face felony charges of forgery after checks were stolen from mailboxes, altered and then cashed.
Police say a solution was used to dissolve numbers and words on the checks so new names and amounts could be written in.
At least three of the checks were cashed, in amounts ranging from $500 to $649 according to authorities.
One of the four people arrested also faces drug charges.
