SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV)--Sioux City officials have lifted the open burning ban in the city limits because of rain over the weekend.
The ban was imposed last week after a grass fire on the west side.
The Fire Marshal's Office says permit's can be obtained for burning twigs, small branches and landscaping waste only.
Burning leaves, trash, or large branches is prohibited.
