Greenville, Iowa woman allegedly stole thousands from former employer

SPENCER, Iowa (KTIV) A Greenville, Iowa woman faces several charges after allegedly stealing from her former employer.

The Spencer Police Department says 49 year-old Lori Bonine is charged with first degree theft, fraudulent practices and identity theft.

Police say Bonine embezzled more than $27,000 in cash from National Cash of Spencer.

The embezzlement allegedly happened over an eight month period from June 2010 through January 2011.
