Homer, NE residents encouraged to plug drains

HOMER, NEB. (KTIV) -

Homer, Nebraska leaders don't expect Missouri River floodwaters to inundate their village .

But, as the water table rises, basement flooding could be a problem.

So, at a village meeting, tonight, leaders asked folks to plug floor drains... and suggested they move basement furniture to a higher floor.
