ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Chris Colabello drove in four runs to lift the Minnesota Twins to a 6-4 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays last night. Colabello's game-winning hit came off Josh Lueke after hits by Joe Mauer and Trevor Plouffe. Casey Fien got the win and Glen Perkins pitched the 12th inning for his fourth save.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota Wild would be in major trouble in this first-round series against Colorado without Mikael (mee-KYE'-uhl) Granlund's overtime goal. The Wild weren't sure they could count on Granlund this season for such important production. But his slick work with the stick deep in the Avalanche zone is a vivid example of why he was drafted ninth overall by the Wild in 2010.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota Wild left wing Matt Cooke has been suspended for seven games by the NHL for a knee-to-knee hit that injured Colorado Avalanche defenseman Tyson Barrie. The Avalanche lead 2-1 with Game 4 set for tonight. That means Cooke will be out for the series and more.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Vikings have only one scheduled prime-time game this season. That's a Thursday matchup at rival Green Bay October 2nd. The Vikings will formally kick off their two-year stay at the University of Minnesota by hosting New England September 14th.
