Strong winds hit the Brown's Lake area near Salix, IA Monday night.
Hundreds of trees are mangled in the lake's campground.
The Woodbury County Conservation Board is working on cleaning up the area.
They say it might take several days before they can get all the trees out.
And the park is closed until they get that done.
"Try to make the park and the campground safe and it will take us a few days to do that and we hope to have it opened up for the weekend," Mark Peterson, Deputy Dir Woodbury Co Conservation Board said.
Officials say if they get the park cleaned up sooner they will open back up.
