The State Transportation Department said state Highway 48 in southeast South Dakota has been reopened at the Iowa border.
The highway was closed Saturday because of flooding from the Big Sioux River.
Officials said Monday that flood waters had receded and the road was open again.
The same stretch of highway was closed for nearly two weeks in late March because of flooding.
