Sioux City man arrested on strangulation warrant

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Iowa (KTIV) - - -

A Siouxland man is arrested on a warrant this holiday weekend, a warrant for strangulation.

Osceola County Deputies say they arrested 24-year-old Jason McClure of Sioux City on Sunday on a valid Dakota County, Nebraska warrant for strangulation.

The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop on Highway 60 near Ashton, Iowa.

McClure was booked into the Osceola County Jail and is currently awaiting extradition to Nebraska on a $50,000 cash bond.
