An update now on a story we first brought you over the weekend.
Delta is reducing flights out of Sioux City from three to two.
Right now, those flights go out at 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the morning as well as 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon.
Delta plans to stop the mid-morning flight.
Sioux City's airport director says the airline hopes that combining the two early flights will increase ridership from 50 to 80-percent.
Delta is waiting to find out whether they'll receive a federal subsidy to continue flying out of Sioux Gateway airport.
The $75-million dollar, ten-year development project will bring 600 apartment units, and 400 single family homes, to the two-thirds of a mile stretch along the Missouri River.
