On Tuesday August 23rd, several of our viewers may have received a mobile alert incorrectly. When KTIV made its switch to high definition, many of our systems and software were also upgraded. This switch in technology created a back log of alert messages that went out inadvertently. Please know the alert service is one we have great pride in and its one we take very seriously.
