Where are we now? Sioux City man relives 9/11 attacks from inside the Pentagon
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Most people can tell you where they were on Sept. 11th, 2001.
But, very few can say they were actually inside the twin towers, or the Pentagon, on that day.
A Sioux City man was, and the experience changed Brent Hoffman's life forever.
Like most folks in the country, Hoffman was watching the World Trade Center towers smolder after they were struck by passenger jets turned into terrorist missiles. That is, until American Airlines flight 77 slammed into the Pentagon at 9:37 eastern time.
"Obviously, had no idea that a plane was headed our direction," said Brent Hoffman of Sioux City, IA.
Though just 300-yards from the point of impact, Hoffman wasn't hurt. He got out, and got on with his life.
Join us Sunday, September 11th as we revisit how that day shaped Hoffman and his family for the rest of their lives.
