Tickets on sale for Red Cross Holiday Tour of Homes


The American Red Cross Holiday Tour of Homes is quickly approaching and it's time to get your tickets.  It's the 21st year for the event in which a select group of homes are decorated for the holidays to help raise funds for the organization.

This year, tours will enjoy five homes on Jackson Street that are known for their architecture and history. They include Premier Services -Wockenfuss Properties at 914 Jackson Street, Jon & Brooke Gilbert at 3851 Jackson Street, Jacob & Ilisja Moreland at 2911 Jackson Street, The Peirce Mansion at 2901 Jackson Street, and John & Deb Wockenfuss at 2900 Jackson Street.

The event starts Wednesday, November 16th and runs through Saturday, November 19th.

Reservations are being taken 24 hours a day online at and by phone between 9:00am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday at 226-TOUR.

Tickets are $25, $35, or $40 per person for the Tour and $50 for the VIP Tour on Saturday evening.

VIP Tour guests will enjoy the five home tour, hors d'oeuvres & wine tasting at the Peirce Mansion, then coffee and dessert in the Wockenfuss "Chocolate Mansion" ballroom.

Lunch will be provided for tours leaving between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm, Thursday - Saturday. Tours fill up quickly, so get your reservations soon. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Jill Wooster at 712-252-4081.
