CHAMBERLAIN, S.D. (KTIV) -
A northwest Iowa man is killed in a rollover crash near Chamberlain, South Dakota.
Authorities say the accident occurred during a police pursuit, as officers were responding to a report of a possible drunk driver.
The highway patrol says 54-year-old Leon Contreras of Estherville was the passenger in a car that left the roadway around one a.m. Friday.
The patrol says Contreras and the driver, 37-year-old Ramon Castillo also of Estherville, were thrown from the vehicle.
Neither was wearing a seat belt.
Contreras was pronounced dead at the scene.
