TransCanada says it will reroute planned oil pipeline to avoid sensitive area of Nebraska.
That heads off a decision by state lawmakers-- meeting in special session-- to give Governor Dave Heineman power to reroute the pipeline, himself. The full Unicameral started talking about that bill, Monday.
The debate follows a State Department announcement last week that a decision on the Keystone XL project had been delayed for one year.
