SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NE (KTIV) -

A summer of flooding killed hundreds of trees in South Sioux City's Scenic Park.

But now a local group is helping out. The teacher's sorority Alpha Delta Kappa Iowa Gamma Chapter is donating a tree to the park. Scenic Park lost between 500 and 600 trees which, the city says, will be replanted one at a time.

The Alpha Delta Kappa tree will be planted at 4:00 Tuesday during a ceremony in Scenic Park.
