Federal regulators are proposing $132,000 in fines against a grain bin operation in Atkinson, Nebraska for alleged safety problems. C.O. Grain, Inc. is accused of 16 safety violations exposing workers to hazards while entering grain bins.
The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration says C.O. Grain has 15 business days from receipt of the citations to either comply, request an informal conference with OSHA's area director or contest the findings.
