Ag Internship program established in honor of former bureau president
A new ag internship program is being offered in honor of the outgoing Nebraska Farm Bureau president.
The farm bureau established the Keith Olsen award last month. It's being offered through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Nominations are being taken through Dec. 20 for the first recipient, who will get $3,000 to $4,000.
The money will help support an internship in a Nebraska congressional office, a congressional committee or an agricultural organization in order to learn more about ag policy.
