SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Tuesday, St. Luke's made a special delivery of 600 diapers to the Crittenton Center in Sioux City.
St. Luke's conducted a campaign for a month... that for every "Like" the hospital received on it's Facebook page, they would donate a diaper to the Crittenton Center.
They got 300 likes but since it's the giving season, they doubled it and donated 600.
Moms who benefit from the Crittenton Center say they are grateful for the diaper drive.
"It's a big gift for all of us moms here because we go through diapers like crazy. We bring diapers here to the daycare and we also use them at home. It's not something you think about but if you got diapers for free, you would take them," said Carolina Galdamez, Sioux City.
The Crittenton Center provided help to over 450 babies and their families last year.
