A Lincoln man has received a 14-year prison term for his role in a crack distribution operation.
A federal judge sentenced Cedric Von Bluford last week in U.S. District Court in Lincoln. Bluford must also serve five years of supervised release after completing his sentence.
The 29-year-old was indicted in February 2008. Prosecutors say he evaded arrest until February, when he was caught in Denver, Colorado. Bluford pleaded guilty in August, and a judge ruled that he was responsible for distributing nearly 7 kilograms of crack.
This case was investigated by the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force.
