The nice weather has a lot people out shopping Monday in Siouxland. Many people hit the malls to return items, and get in on the post holiday bargains. Some have almost made these trips into an annual tradition, even if it's not the giver's fault.
"Sometimes we can get the wrong gifts and we have to exchange them and get the wrong kind," said Erica Dunn.
"It's really busy, and I'm pretty sure people are going to be here for a really long time," said Carlee Horn.
With so many people returning items and buying new stuff, many store officials say the traffic in and out of the stores is approaching Black Friday levels.
One manager said the number of gift cards being used and the number of gift returns will combine to put the day after Christmas in the top five for the year for the number of customers in the stores.
