Crash near Hull, IA sends two to hospital

HULL, Iowa (KTIV) -

A crash in Hull, Iowa Wednesday afternoon sent two people to the hospital. Authorities say Margaret Hoekstra of Hull was driving on Highway 18 when she merged into the left lane before turning and collided with a semi head on.

According to authorities Hoekstra and the driver of the semi, Scott O'Brien of Wisconsin, were taken to Sioux Center Hospital by ambulance. Hoekstra was later transported to mercy medical center. No word on their conditions this morning. The crash is under investigation.
