STORM LAKE, Iowa (KTIV) -

An investigation into several sexual assaults has landed a Storm Lake, Iowa man behind bars.
Officials say they've charged 50-year-old Michael Sievers of Storm Lake with 10 counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault after a victim claims she was assaulted multiple times at 429 1/2 Ontario Street during the summer of 2006.

Friday, Storm Lake Police and staff of the Iowa Department of Human Services interviewed Sievers in connection with the alleged assaults. Following the interview, officials say they obtained information that led them to believe Sievers was in possession of child pornography at his home. A search warrant served by officials turned up firearms, hundreds of CD's believed to contain child pornography and a large amount of printed child pornography images.

Sievers may also face additional charges according to Storm Lake public safety director.

"It will take our investigators several days if not longer to review all of the materials seized in the search warrant to ascertain the extent of the seizure of child pornography," said Director Mark Prosser.
