DAKOTA CITY, Neb. (KTIV) -
A man accused of killing his girlfriend at her South Sioux City, Nebraska home in October was in Dakota County Court Tuesday.
John Baker waived his preliminary hearing to be bound over to district court.
The 53-year-old is charged with 2nd degree murder for the death of Kelly Alspach. According to autopsy findings Alspach died from a blow to the head and positional asphyxiation.
Her body was found hidden in a window seat inside her home.
Baker's bond is set at $1.5 million. He'll appear in district court January 30th at 1 p.m.
