Authorities say 21-year old Bryan Lee turned himself in, in Houston, Texas today.
He was booked on a charge of 1st Degree murder for the death of 21-year old Jordan Peterson, formerly of Sioux City.
Jordan's family says, "Although we as a family are relieved that the main suspect is behind bars, we also understand that this is the first step. A first step toward the truth, and justice for Jordan."
A week ago, Tucson police found human remains believed to be Jordan Peterson's in a remote area of Arizona desert. Authorities say it could still be a few weeks before autopsy results reveal how he died.
Peterson had been missing since November.
Detectives believe there are additional people who have not come forward with information about the circumstances surrounding this case.
