NEAR NIOBRARA, Neb. (KTIV) -
No one was injured after two vehicles ended up in the icy waters of the Niobrara River Monday morning.
According to authorities, a Knox County Deputy arrived to an assistance call just south of the Standing Bear Bridge around 8:00 a.m.
The deputy discovered two vehicles at the bottom of the embankment, on their sides, with the driver's sides of the vehicle's in the water.
Both drivers escaped their vehicles and neither was injured. Officials say a wrecker service would be removing the vehicles.
