SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb (KTIV) -
Nebraska Republican Attorney General Jon Bruning stopped in South Sioux City Friday.
The visit to the Hy-Vee store comes a week after Bruning filing papers to run for the Nebraska US Senate seat held by outgoing Democrat Ben Nelson.
Bruning says the Obama administration's health care law and EPA regulations are killing Nebraska jobs.
"We need to cut spending in Washington so if Nebraskans vote for me you're going to get a guy who is going there to balance the budget. They also should know I'm leading the lawsuit against Obama-care. We have to win that lawsuit. So the reason Nebraskans should vote for me is because they know I'm a guy that'll get it done," said Jon Bruning (R), Nebraska Attorney General and Senate Candidate.
There are four other candidates in the GOP primary race along with Bruning: State Treasurer Don Stenberg, State Senator Deb Fischer, Investment advisor Pat Flynn and truck driver Spencer Zimmerman.
