Norfolk -
For many across Siouxland, the effects of last summer's flood are still being felt, and that challenge is being shared by others around the country.
Minot, North Dakota saw 4,100 homes damaged or destroyed by flooding of the Souris River.
About one-fifth of the town's population was displaced by flooding and many still have yet to return home or begin the process of clean-up and recovery.
Officials from Minot are visiting Norfolk, Nebraska's Orphan Grain Train asking for help.
They say for many in Minot, the challenge is getting the word out that help is still needed.
Rev. Paul Krueger, Minot, ND Pastor: "The Minot disaster really is a forgotten disaster. What people remember is just a little bit of water went through and it was completely off their minds. We're talking a level five natural disaster. It was the same as Katrina," pointed out Minot pastor Rev. Paul Krueger.
Krueger estimates it will be a full decade before Minot can fully recover from flooding.
