Jefferson, SD man charged with rape

ELK POINT, S.D. (KTIV) -

A Jefferson, South Dakota man faces rape charges.

Union County State's Attorney Jerry Miller says authorities arrested 40-year-old Chris Mollet, last week, on charges of rape, and sexual contact with a minor.

Miller says the charges followed an incident-- involving a juvenile female-- last summer, and another incident, he says, happened "recently".

Miller says Mollet hasn't been indicted, only arrested on the charges.

Mollet will be back in court February 13th.
