Mapleton, IA woman enters plea to animal cruelty charges

A Mapleton, Iowa woman accused of hoarding more than a dozen dogs says she's not guilty.

On January, 12th during a probation compliance check, Monona County deputies found 13 dogs staying at a home Denise Withee shares with her mother.

Officials alleged she violated her probation by keeping pets where she lived.

Back In 2008, Withee was convicted of dumping 23 dead or dying dogs in a south central cornfield.
