Marinated Flank Steak - prepared by Matt Breen, KTIV Anchor
Ingredients:
• 2 lbs. flank steak (trimmed)
Marinade:
• 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
• 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
• 2 Tbsp. pulp-free orange juice
• 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
• 1/2 tsp. chili flakes
• 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
• 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
Combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, orange juice, minced garlic, chili flakes, kosher salt and ground pepper in a bowl. Whisk together.
Lay flank steak flat in a shallow container. Pour in marinade. Cover. Refrigerate overnight.
Preheat grill to medium high heat. Remove steak from marinade, and place steak on grill. Discard marinade.
Grill steak until medium (pink in the middle). Remove from grill and place on a plate. Cover with tin foil, and let steak rest.
After 10-minutes, remove steak to carving board and slice thinly to serve.
