Falling behind 1-0 to the Omaha Lancers in the first period, the Sioux City Musketeers battled back winning 3-2 in a shootout over the Western Conference leading Lancers Saturday night at the Tyson Event Center.
Pontus Johansson put the Muskies on the board in the second period. Down 2-1 in the third, teammate Maxim Gaudreault provided the equalizer at the :50 mark.
Tied at 2-2 at the end of regulation and overtime, Brad Robbins scored in the shootout, propelling the Musketeers to a 3-2 victory.
