So that's why it's called a donkey duet

Talent can be found in some unusual ways. And in some unusual places, often it's by accident that people find their hidden abilities. Moonlit Oaks Ranch in Keystone heights sounds like an orchestra warming up for a big show.

And Alicia Shuler's life is directing the animal choir. Though convincing her to talk about it on camera was tough.

"Quiet around here,"said Shuler.

Unlike the animals, she's quite shy.

"I guess so."

You see, Shuler recently took up an interest in playing music.

"I just started playing the violin and viola."

And thought her musical animals would make for a friendly audience while practicing.

"I was just goofing off."

She started by playing for the cows.

"But they ignored me, and then he called me from across the farm."

That's donkeyote.

"That's his shoulder blades you can see there," Shuler said.

She found him abandoned and starved several years ago and brought him to live here.

And apparently he's the perfect violin practice partner.

"I walked over and I set up and thought, what the hay."

Thinking maybe she'd share her playing with family, she brought a video camera.

"Thought maybe I'd get one hee-haw out of him and I'd show a couple people, , but he just kept going."

She shared her donkey duet on youtube for the family...
