Next round of interviews underway for Norfolk Senior High principal

NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV/US92) -

Friday was the day three candidates who hope to become the next principal at Norfolk Senior High in Norfolk, Nebraska went before three different interviewing boards.

 

The pool of candidates was narrowed down by a screening committee earlier this month. The interviewing process will include three groups. They include a group of parents and students, a group of teachers and support staff and a group of district administrators.

The candidates will took turns in front of each of the groups Friday morning. The candidates include Bill Robinson, who is the current assistant Principal at Norfolk Senior High. Todd Rhodes who is the Principal at North Platte High School in North Platte, Nebraska and James Lake, a high school principal from Greenville, California.

The principal position at Norfolk Senior High came open last summer when former Principal Steve Morton submitted his resignation to take a position at Northeast Community College.

The interviews are not open to the general public or the media, however school officials say they hope to have a decision ready to announce before the end of the month.
