SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
The Sioux City Musketeers continues to find the back of the net, but so did Des Moines as the Buccaneers ended the Muskies three game winning streak with a 4-3 shootout victory Saturday night.
The Musketeers jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals from David Goodwin and Brett Patterson in the 1st period. Des Moines battled back and took a 3-2 lead on a Duggie Lagrone goal at the 10:44 mark in the 3rd period. Kyle Criscuolo evened the score with less than two minutes to play, sending the Musketeers to overtime for the third time in as many games.
After a scoreless OT period, the Buccaneers had the only goals in the shootout, earning the 4-3 win.
