Thurston, NE business honored at White House

WASHINGTON, D.C (KTIV) -

Thurston manufacturing company out of Thurston, Nebraska was recognized at the White House, Friday, for its success in rural America.

The Thurston company was chosen for successfully establishing and growing a business in a rural region which only has 125 residents.

The Thurston plant is currently in a construction phase for a 43,000 square foot expansion. Seventy-seven jobs will be retained and 12 more created with the project.

Thurston Manufacturing Company makes farm equipment and side dump semi-trailers.
