Santee man sentenced for assault

A 25-year old Santee, Nebraska man was sentenced to prison for stabbing two people with a box cutter.

Jeremiah Denney will spend 30 months behind bars for assault with a dangerous weapon.

Authorities say Denney stabbed his girlfriend and another man during an argument on the Santee Sioux Indian Reservation last May.
