NW Iowa man arrested on sex abuse charges

ALTA, Iowa (KTIV) -

An Alta, Iowa man has been arrested after officials say he sexually abused a minor.

52-year-old Robert Hoffard was charged with 10 counts of 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse, and two counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse, after he allegedly committed numerous sex acts with a child under 16.

Hoffard is currently being held in Buena Vista County Jail on $150,000 bond.
