CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) -
Vehicles,
mailboxes and garage doors in the Stoney Point neighborhood of Cedar
Rapids have been spray painted with the letters "KKK" over the last few
days.
Police have responded to at least four calls in the past three days.
One of the victims says she wonders if the people
responsible even understand that KKK stands for Ku Klux Klan, a white
supremacist organization with a violent history.
Police are investigating the incident as a
vandalism and not a hate crime and believe teenagers are the culprits.
Police doubt there is any threat to people living in the neighborhood.
