Congressman Steve King to Speak at Missouri River Town Hall
Iowa Congressman Steve King will be in the area next week to talk about last summer's flooding and the Missouri River. The Republican will take part in a town hall meeting at the Marina Inn Conference Center in South Sioux City, Nebraska. King plans to outline a bill he's proposing in the US house that requires the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to increase the amount of storage space in the Missouri River's Reservoir System dedicated to flood control. King says the bill would provide protection against future flooding. The town hall meeting is Monday at 2pm in South Sioux.
