UPDATE: South Sioux City, NE police investigate shooting
SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NE (KTIV) -
Police in South Sioux City, Nebraska, are still searching for answers after a late night shooting. Lieutenant Chuck Carson says sometime before midnight police responded to a call of "shots fired" in the 400-block of East 20th Street.
Folks in that neighborhood said the shooting happened in front of 412 East 20th.
Neighbors recall hearing three to five shots from what sounded like a shotgun. Police say when they arrived they found a 25-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a local hospital where he is currently being treated. But, police haven't released his name, or condition.
At this point no one has been charged in the shooting.
